About
Insurance distribution runs on relationships and contracts. Only one of those is written down.
DiscoveryPeriod.Legal exists because the professionals inside this industry hold the most detailed knowledge of how it actually operates — and the least structured way to record it.
Trust principles
Six commitments the product is built around.
Allegation is never fact
An account provided by an individual is labeled as exactly that, everywhere it appears, with no visual treatment that could be mistaken for a finding.
Verification is earned, never implied
A document is 'verified supporting documentation' only after a human confirms its source and completeness. Everything else stays unverified and says so.
No fabricated statistics
We never publish a number we cannot source. Demonstration data is labeled 'Illustrative / Demo Data' on the surface where it appears.
The subject gets to answer
Organizations can submit responses through a verified channel, published beside the report rather than buried beneath it.
AI organizes; people decide
Analysis surfaces potential issues, relevant language, supporting evidence, missing information and questions. It does not conclude, predict or advise.
Consent is granular and revocable
Identity, narrative, documents, extracted facts and aggregate use are separate decisions, each with an audit trail and each reversible.
Status
Phase 1 prototype.
What you are viewing is a design and architecture prototype. Organizations, files, documents, analyses and statistics are fictional. There are no external integrations, no legal databases, no payment processing, and no production AI behind these screens. The purpose is to make the structure of the eventual system legible in minutes.
DiscoveryPeriod.Legal is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. AI output is informational only, organizes what you submitted, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Nothing here establishes that any organization violated a law or contract.
